01/ About the Project
The Grid AQ is a modular warehouse development in Al Quoz, Dubai, comprising 42 flexible units designed to accommodate industrial, commercial, and creative uses. Structured around a clear grid system, the development is built to support adaptability, scale, and operational efficiency within an industrial context.
Scheduled to open in February 2026, The Grid will integrate a curated mix of F&B, retail, event-led spaces, landscaped courtyards, and cultural programming, positioning the destination as both a working warehouse complex and an emerging cultural hub within Al Quoz by Al-Abbar (EMAAR).
01/ Rationale
The Grid AQ logo is a system inspired by the structure of the space itself -clean, industrial, and architectural.
“THE GRID” sits in a bold, linear form, while “AQ” anchors the mark in a solid slab, echoing plot signage and façade geometry.
The Arabic integration of "الغريد" slices through the system diagonally - introducing tension, contrast, and a sense of Else. It disrupts the grid intentionally, reflecting the space’s role as more than just a development - it's a cultural break from the norm. It holds form while making space for soul.
TGAQ is a modular letter system that anchors the brand across space, signage,
and storytelling.
Each letter reflects a key dimension of the experience:
T → for Talk, Taste, or Trade - covering food, retail, and tenant activations
G → for The Grid - the venue itself, its architecture, spatial rhythm, and modular layout
A → for Art, Act, or Amplify - moments of expression, performance, and creative energy
Q → for Quiet, Quarter, or Quench - rituals, reflection, and the space to pause
